These are pretty cool. They will protect the outside of the screen, as well as the trim around the trackpad and keyboard.

I'm looking for a MATTE screen overlay but having trouble finding one large enough for the HDX18. Anyone know of one?

Any thoughts on how to get one these on the DV8t? It has a screeen surface that is completely flat glass that extends past the edge of the LCD itself. Installing a 18.4" protector will leave some of the glass uncovered, even though it would cover the actual screen area. This would not completely protect it and could quite possibly look ugly since the edges of the screen protector are exposed and not butted up against a plastic bezel.
Has anyone noticed this and thought of potential workarounds?
Yeah, the DV8 has the same fluid finish that the HDX18 has. Now I haven't ordered one of these but it shouldn't be the wrong size. Don't let the pic fool you, I am pretty sure they just used a generic photo to show how it worked. The actual shield should be the exact size as the dv8 and hdx18 screen.

Does anyone know if an InvisibleShield for an HDX18 would fit a DV8t? I know the two laptops are very similar in design to the point of share components (like the 2nd hard drive carrier/cable) but are the external cases identical to the point that an InvisibleShield that fits one would fit the other?
I am pretty sure that they are the same monitors and bodies, so it should work perfect.
You can check the Maintenance and Service guide for each laptop and find the specs of the monitor, size and all and see if they match up. But I am pretty sure they do.

Invisible Shield doesn't indicate if they provide anti-glare support. And the other says they do, but also talk about applying an adhesive.
I want to buy one, as I do need anti-glare and want to keep the keyboard from leaving marks on the screen.
